Favorite
Seal Game of All Time/ Fondest Coaching Memory
I
have several favorite hockey games starting back in 1986 when we went undefeated
for 20 straight games and went to States. 94,
95 & 96 were big years, winning districts and going to Penn State to play
in a State playoff game. We played in the snow on turf.
In 99 we won a District game @ Bloomsburg vs. Benton. The ref. let Benton
start the game after a timeout without us on the field and they scored. It was
crazy but we won anyway. Every year is very special to me because of the
relationships with the girls. They are all great kids and I just enjoy being
around them.
Occupation
: P.E. Teacher and Field Hockey
Coach
Hobbies
: of course, playing hockey or really any sport that keeps me active. I will
probably golf someday when I have time. I also love watching my boys participate
in sports. We enjoy the jetski, going to the beach, and hanging out with
friends.
Staying
involved in Church activities and relying on God’s grace to keep me strong.
Coaching
Responsibilities : Putting together the best Varsity Team that I can with
the talent that surrounds me.
Anything
Else ? : Great assistant coaches like I have is one of the reasons we are
so successful! Coaches that are willing to give of their time to improve and
care for our young athletes.
The
other reason is my husband’s willingness to support me and to take on a lot of
the responsibilities @ home and with the boys while I’m coaching. It’s a
TEAM effort all the way around!
